Lise Meitner and Otto Hahn, Laboratory (1913)

Abstract

Chemist Otto Hahn (1879-1968) and nuclear physicist Lise Meitner (1878-1968) carried out research on radioactivity at the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Chemistry. This 1913 photograph shows them in what would have been a typical laboratory.
